Amy,
Dr. George Brouillet has an excellent reputation around here. Dr. Brian Polsky is also very good. I know people who have gone to both of them and have been very happy. Irene (from Diesel) raves about her surgeon too. I think she said he is in Baltimore.

The race was lots of fun, especially thanks to the Hulins and their Frederick friends who were great hosts.

One suggestion, I ran the race in my VFF's and would recommend against it. There are a few sections where you're running on fist sized gravel that were not fun.

Oh and pinch your nose for that 15 foot dive, popping your ears isn't fun. ;)

What was fun was the electric shocks and the ice water dive.

One more fun thing, always register for Saturday, just in case the tough mudder to tough for the TMHQ staff and facility to host a 2nd day in a row.

Not the mudder!

Steve, that really stinks.

I only made it 9.5 miles, but TMHQ barely made it halfway.

This article says that the second day of Tough Mudder was cancelled because their permit was pulled, which happened because the traffic and parking situation was a complete nightmare. Parking was probably the toughest obstacle for a lot of the competitors. Thank goodness for the Hulins and their friends.

Shannon, I think you might be insane.

Dan, I think you might be right. I am a little nuts.

But... when I woke up at 7am this morning, I felt fine (just some annoying cuts and bruises). So I thought, what the heck. (I run about 20-30 miles a week so I think that helped me from feeling terrible today).

Plus, I love endurance class!
