It's going to take me all day to wrap my head around this one. How are you all feeling about it? Have there ever been WODs with this many rope climbs? Steve really wants to see some vomit I think ;)
Rachel, I'm right there with you. Especially since tonight will be my first time climbing and rope and 12 is a huge number...AND THAT'S NOT the whole workout. YIKES!! I'm scared I'll get up and not be able to get down w/o falling or w/o a rope burn.
7:00 Am Kim 20:14 (-9 climb, 55# FS, -50 DL 95#) Jason C 27:47 (3pull 24 body row, th95#, 145# dl x 25) Hilary 28:29 (B.Row, 25# thr, 45# DL)
5:00pm Teresa 21:36 (+90# DL) AJ 24:40 Mandi 27:30 Jason S 27:31 (2climb+40 K2E) Dan H 28:50 Keith 29:35 (1/2 rope 1/2 k2e) Jim 30:00 (-2 rope) Yvette 30:00 (-30 dl, -8 rope)
While I taped my thigh (where the rope wraps around), I evidently did not tape low enough. You were right Mandi! Now I have a painful rope burn that looks like CRAP! Wish I had worn pants, but it was so freakin hot. UGH!
On another note, great job to everyone toughing it out this week. Yvette, you were awesome today tackling rope climbs in the WOD. Keep it up girl.

What's the origin of this WOD's name?

check out my right ankle from last time we had rope climbs! rope burned the crap out of it and looks like a nice dalmation pattern when healing.
I notice less rope burn if I just jump up and tag the yellow tape...
