Hi everyone! Thanks for your support throughout my pregnancy. Jaina was born happy and healthy on the 14th. I was in labor for 24 hours... I'll spare you the details, but they didn't realize until the very end that her head was sideways. They wanted to do a c-section but I refused, and she was born 20 minutes later. My husband told me afterward that they had stopped vacuuming her--it was all me pushing. I completely credit that to CF--not just the workouts but the mentality to finish what you've started!! I hope to bring her in soon... she's already holding up her head and doing baby pushups :)
Evan, awesome answer :) Deb, I woke up at 4:30 am thinking about how awful it might have been to have your amazingly strong crossfit abs cut up in a c-section... i've been in c-sections and they are fairly brutal procedures- any surgeons/ob's or surgical nurses reading this sorry but it's true. I'm so happy for you deb for sticking it out, and I'm sure one day when I have a baby I will remember your courage. Thank you for sharing your experience. And once again, congrats!
Yvette, I was aimlessly trying to prolong the glory that is a Friday night... I occasionally have the awful habit of staying up far too late... but you are 100% right, sleep should be one of our absolute priorties, especially on training days. Most recovery happens while sleeping, I think nearly all recovery actually. Which is why I will promptly be taking a nice nap this afternoon to make up for last night :)

Deb, so happy for you and your family! I keep telling non-CrossFitters that CF prepares you for life and more and you're true proof of that!

Dangit! I'll be out of town tonight. Mandi's 225 DL beats my single rep max by 2.5 pounds. I need to take care of that :-)
(Hit the send button too soon)
Congratulations, Deb! Jaina is a wonderful name - big hugs for her!

Mandi is that a deadlift PR? Awesome lift!!
Rachel, why are you posting a comment at 2 am? Your WON should be sleeping for AHPs (workout of the night) (as many hours as possible) :)

Forgot to add Wilks scores for these lifts. Based on weight of 122.6#
245(131.454)/110(59.042)/280(150.266)
Total Wilks: 340.762
