Man, I was such a weak link ... At least I can row.
Don't be so hard on yourself. The most important thing is we all got a fantastic workout. It's good to be back after a week off.
I love that attitude Dan! Yes, it is meant to be a fantastic work-out and a great time!
For Sunday morning class, will it still happen in the rain?
Tomorrow's workout will be rain or shine!
The plan:
Warmup
8x400m run at 85% trying to hold within 5 seconds
After Party
Hope to see you there.
as long as it isn't torential downpours, i'll be there. supposedly 50% chance so we'll hope for the BEST of the 50% ! Thanks Brian!
Sunday Endurance WOD
8x400m at 85%, trying to maintain within 5 seconds
OR
7x400m with the first one at 100% followed by 6 at 85% trying to maintain within 5 seconds
By average time:
Shannon: 1:24, Pass, 1:40, 1:42, 1:36, 1:38, 1:36, 1:33
Lauren: 1:30, Pass, 1:44, 1:47, 1:42, 1:42, 1:43, 1:41
Whitney: 1:43, 1:47, 1:47, 1:48, 1:47, 1:48, 1:47, 1:40
Rachel R: 1:36, Pass, 1:48, 1:49, 1:45, 1:44, 1:49, 1:51
Mandi: 1:29, 1:55, 1:51, 2:02, 1:55, 2:03, 1:59, 1:54
Sheila: 2:01, Pass, 2:08, 2:12, 2:22, 2:22, 2:19, 2:15
It was about as wet as could be! but great fun. The goal is to try and get access to a pool by next week's WOD.
Brian that was awesome, thank you!
What was the rest duration between 400s?
I heard that it was 90 sec. rest between the sprints
That was awesome Brian! Thanks.
Just did this at Hammond High. WU: 0.5 mi jog to the track + stretching, then:
1:03, pass, 1:27.5, 1:26, 1:27.8, 1:27.1, 1:30.4, 1:20.4
apparently, I have a very consistent pace. Self-timed.
A.J. you are insanely fast! Holy crap.
Thanks for the kind words Dan! I wasn't meaning to sound down on myself. I was a clear weak link, but that's good. It's forced me to get my speed rope out at home and work on my DUs. Being the weak link in a group WOD is a fantastic motivator.
