Mark G. (25k) 2:46.
Top 5 finish ;)
I propose a Sunday WOD: Hash #1196.
FYI, it's at 3 pm. The am is a misprint. There are still plenty enough bums out at that hour. And they're a bit less surly.
Nelson's 25k
First 12.5k: 1:58
Second 12.5k: 0:59
Total: 2:57
It was a lot of fun! But the best part was apple cider, cookies and a warm fire at the finish.
Nice Mark and Brian! That's two from out crew in the top 10 (I'm guessing that there weren't more than 5 people to finish in the 11 minutes between you two, but I could be wrong).
Everyone, you did us proud. Whether you ran a 1/4 Nelson, or a 1/2 Nelson, or anything in between - You did it!
Today's other WOD
Whitney 10:02
Susan 12:01
Dan 12:25 (65#)
Kim 12:28 (35#)
Keith 14:21 (65#)
Joe 15:15
Vinu 15:25 (65#)
Nelson's 25K 3:30 (but I missed 1 hill, likely about 1/2 mile).
Brian that is impressive that you had a jolly fun time the first 12.5K then ran like hell the second 12.5K.
Super fun!!! Charlotte and Nelson are so nice, and their home is so cozy! I spent 2 hours in the hot-tub :)
Hey guys! Just wanted to tell everyone great job today on this wod and thank you again Evan for counting for me!
I was wondering if any of you would like to help me out with something .. On Jan. 29th I am doing a Polar Bear Plundge at Sandy Point State Park, we are collecting donations for the Special Olympics, this is charity event very close to my heart because my cousin competes in it every year. If you would like to make a donation it would be greatly appricated (there is no set amount) and if not please pray that I dont turn into an icicle! haha
Thank you guys again for your hospitality and everything you guys do!
Whitney
Evan, I forgot to write my time on the board. (14:08, rx)
Julie B, Thank you - I usually forget an athletes time just seconds after I call it out. And Whitney, that sounds wonderful cause and event - Good Luck!
I took Evan's advice and did a heavy day today. The next few days will show whether I recover faster, but I think I would definitely recommend it now.
Front squat: 245 PR
Squat clean: 200 PR (by 15#)
Sweet PR's!
Did this on Sunday: 8:52
Good time T2
After rolling my ankle in the firt 30 minutes....ouch, I trotted, ran and walked a 12.5k in 2 hours. Wish I could blame it on the ankle but overall is was pretty tough. Hopefully, better next year.
