Rachel and Jamison, I am going to do Nelson's Fat Ass! Not sure how far I will get, but starting is half the battle right.

Nelson and his wife encouraged us to bring our bathing suite and an appetite. They will have the hot tub on and a big dinner at the end. Their house is just past the docks on lake elkhorn and is the start/finish line.

Anyone else want to join us???

I think I am in... if only I could get myself to skip tonight's WOD... what would you advise? I'm telling ya'all, I'm slow, so anyone who wants to shoot for doing this (25K style) but worried about finishing you can jog/walk/skip with me :)

My word verification is 'fases'. Looks peculiarly like Fat Ass!

I hate to, but I think I need to scratch from Nelsons FA. I'm still not 100% after my 100k a few weeks back and anything over 5 miles causes slight irritation. Need to work on that mobility and do more one-legged balance stuff!

And Rachel, I seriously doubt you'll be the slowest one there. Ultrarunners can be a surprisingly slow group, plus you've got all that great Crossfit metabolic conditioning that should carry you a long way!

I'm thinking a 5 mile per hour pace... the only thing I really ever get anxious about is being slow, so thanks Bobby :)!
