I don't think I can snatch more than 87.5 as of this week when we went as high as we could in 6mins. do I do 7 snatches at that weight? or maybe lighter since I believe that's my 1rpm so maybe 75 or 80?
Mmm brownies :) Mandi, I will scan and email you my point sheet tomorrow. I fell of the nutrition wagon on Saturday but I think I'm back on. Maybe I should get a sponsor.
I'll bring the paleo brownies to the evening classes tomorrow... I don't need to have them in the house or I'd eat ALL of them! I hope everyone enjoys! Rachel M., I made an awesome shrimp, zucchini, onion, pepper and grape tomato succotash for dinner tonight.
Rachel L said they were from Paleomama.com, and they certainly are. If you go to the paleomama website for this recipe you can view the luscious photo that might make you salivate... I wish I did not like chocolate...
Paleo Brownies
16 oz of walnuts 1 egg 1 cup honey 1/2 cup baking cocoa 1 tbs pure vanilla extract 1/2 tsp coarse sea salt 1 tsp baking soda 2 oz unsweetened dark chocolate chopped 1 – 2 tbs coconut oil
Directions
Preheat oven to 325. Grease a 8 x 8 baking dish with coconut oil. Pulse walnuts in food processor until smooth and creamy. In a large bowl, beat an egg. Add in the nut butter and vanilla and honey and stir to combine. Add in cocoa powder, salt and baking soda. Stir in chopped chocolate. Pour batter into greased baking dish. Bake at 325 for 30-35 minutes. It will puff up in oven and settle when it cools. To check doneness, insert a toothpick or knife in the center. It should come out clean. Cool for 15 minutes and then cut and eat.
He's gonna be on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Friday (the 28th). Lots of mixed thoughts watching him do this. I wonder why he is not getting large with healthy foods (ie unlimited chocolate and watermelon etc...), but all in all I applaud him. I could not do it, but I applaud him. He is going to have one hell of a time getting that old body back. Will be interesting to watch, but I somehow have no doubt that his second fit photo will look nearly identical to the first fit photo. Thanks for sharing AJ.

Yvette, I also used to wonder what a succotash was, but I've pretty much decided it's any non-soup mixture of multiple vegetables, legumes, and possibly grain (corn is common) with the optional addition of a protein. Wikipedia begs to differ, but what does it know.

No rack,
One Bar,
If scaling: (95/ 65)
This is exactly as it was at the 2009 Hopper.
If you need to scale further, do so, but use only 1 bar.
do we get to taste the brownies for breakfast tomorrow?
Yvette, I will be your sponsor...
What brownies...
