After I started crossfit but before I my daughter was born I got 8-8.5 hours of sleep. After a hard wod I found that as soon as my head touched the pillow I was out cold and woke up refreshed 8-8.5 hours later.
The only hard part of getting up for me after a hard WOD is the physical act of moving. And I usually feel a WOD's effects more the second and third days.
But since the baby was born I'm now getting more "sleep." Which is 8-10 hours between getting into bed and getting up for the day. But I wake up 3-6 times a night. Luckily I have very flexible work hours. Even more lucky I have a wife that makes do with 4-6 hours of sleep. :)

Question for anyone. How many hours of sleep do you try to get?
Do you find it much harder to wake up after the more difficult WODs?
