Anyone coming at 7am??? I don't want to risk missing this one... and may not get out of work by 5:15... someone please come at 7am!!! BTW, amazing work on the GR for Diane T! WOWZAS!!
Speed day! Awesome! End of the first three week phase in the pendulum wave, CHAINS begin next week! I am so excited!
I just got a copy of "Olympic Weightlifting: A Complete Guide for Athletes & Coaches" by Greg Everett from Catalyst Athletics. It's totally awesome and is highly recommended.
Also, for those of you with accounts on the "CrossFit Message Board". We have officially announced the "5 Ton 5 K" under the "Competitions" Forum.
It is it's own thread, titled: "5 Ton 5K - Mid-Atlantic Aria"
The way the message board works is that the most recent commented-upon thread jumps to the top. ... So, if folks wouldn't mind creating a little 'buzz' over their, that would be great. So-far, it has gotten around 100 views. I think it is a good place to advertise to the general CrossFit Community.
Thanks Jason, I couldn't resist chiming in. "caring coaches" that is sweet.....we try.....though sometimes we tough love!
Yay, Whitney we are so glad to have you as part of our team! I think John purchased a spot for the Warrior Dash but can not go?!?! Perhaps you could take his place......
This is interesting stuff. Shoes are bad. Mostly. Except when walking across parking lots loaded with broken glass or through swamps where parasites are in abundance.

Well then, looks like we'll have to run a little bit for this one!

Oh, and maybe spread them out. Like one new person a day. That way we can jump to the top, several times between now and the Event (Sept. 12th).
Is anyone doing the Warrior Dash in PA this October? I feel like the Diesel fitness method has sufficiently prepared me for such a challenge :)

I'm going on Sunday! Can we incorporate the viking helmets into a future WOD?

That was a PR by close to 5 minutes!
Hoi Yee and I will be doing the dash on that saturday, 9 October.
I also second Jason's comment about malicious programming... DL's into KB swings is awful...
Still ... good to see the PR's - even with the up-hill challenge of DL's into KBSwings.
i enjoyed the post-wod stretching. can we keep that? :)
sure :)
