There is no ideal ration of Row to Run times for equal distances. Both are monostructural exercises, and often used as substitutions for one another. Ones time may or may not be withing a minute of the other (after all, an athlete could be a masterful technician on the erg and a terrible runner, or vice versa).

Jason, a 2k run would be a reasonable sub, in case there is no erg available.

Hmmm....200 SDHP is tempting me...I'm thinking I will go this route! It sounds like brutal torture on my traps, biceps and hamstrings.

1.3 mile run around Wilde Lake in 11.10 minutes (slow even by my standards!)

Couldn't make CrossFit Diesel this evening, so Meghan and I had to workout at CrossFit Kingsbridge (ie. my garage). Subbed SDHP for rowing.
Cameron:
75 reps at 95#: 8:35
Meghan:
75 reps at 45#: 4:27
She obviously did not lift enough weight. 55#'s would have been better.

The other option is to do 10 SDHP ot the bar for every 100m in the WOD.
(It burns!)
Hopefully I'll be able to make this one up over the weekend. I hate missing a rowing WOD.
Funny, I almost did 200 SDHP with just the bar. I opted for some weight instead, but next time I will do the correct substitution. I bet it does burn!
