Evan, I saw on the mainsite its Randy...if 75# is male Rx'd, what is females for snatches?? do they have anywhere on the site all the Rx'd female weights??

(it'd be a lot easier if they just posted both!!)

sad I can't make it for Helen, but I will be doing it on my own tomorrow!

There are different takes on the subject.

Take 1
There is no such thing as a women's Rx'd weight, just a scale of the Rx'd WOD.

Take 2
Women typically use ~2/3rds of the Rx'd load for a WOD (ie. 75:50, 95:65, 135:90, 225:150)

Take 3
Under CrossFit.com FAQ 1.3 -Divide the load by 175 to get a percentage (Such as 95# /175= ~55%). Now the athlete can use 55% of there body weight in the WOD (Say a 125# athlete = ~69# (rounded up to 70#)

Take 4
Multiply the Rx'd load by .68

The most commonly used are

50 for 75
65 for 95
85 for 135
155 for 225

You may also see

90 for 135
95 for 135
165 for 225

There is no official consensus from HQ.

Jack, I fixed it. Thank you for pointing out the omission.

My favorite typo was when we performed a WOD as "5 Rounds for Tim".

After all his hard work, he deserves some acknowledgment.
