Evan, Mandi, Rachel and I were talking about this after class tonight, found it, thought I'd post it. Some goals for people to strive for!
I think the only thing on this list that I may have anything close to is the 400m time... though that may be a ballsy statement seeing as I haven't run a timed 400 since high school...
Yes it seems I have some room for improvement. O well, at least today is an easy workout.
Cain, never say easy! Thanks for these stats T!!
That's exactly the data - good find T.
Definitely, these are good goals for anyone. Looking at these numbers, I'd like to make a new "Levels Chart" based on this data.
Level 1 - 30%
Level 2 - 20%
Level 3 - 10%
Level 4 - Equal to or greater
For many, these different levels would be attainable goals within their CrossFit lifetime (which should equal your actual life span; yeah Masters Division!)
The math almost works, too. But I think the met-con data is not lenient enough. Ex. A 30% slower Filthy 50 would be ~ 25 minutes. I'd rather it go something like:
1 - Sub 35
2 - Sub 30
3 - Sub 25
4 - Sub 20
... Or Fran, sub 6,5,4,3 respectively.
And these where based off of the Men's data. Separate standards would be maid based on the Women's data, too.
Yeah Master's Division! One more month!
I'm not trying to make weight, I'm trying to make age.
Interesting numbers. You might be able to come up with decent percentages for levels of metcon ability. For the lifts body weight is very important, and we already have plenty of charts for what beginner, intermediate, and advance are for those.
Great lifting everyone!
